Sarah Dingwall is an artist living on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. With a Degree in Fine Arts (Glass), she delights in spending her days hand-making small works in glass. Her pieces are the outworking of a love of place and process, as she explores the generous landscape she finds herself in, and the unique challenges and opportunities inherent to glass. Sarah is passionate about living simply and choosing handmade and homegrown wherever possible. She creates with the intention to bring wonder into the everyday, and to invite others into moments of curiosity and play.

Join us as we explore the possibilities of wearable glass pieces and how to create them! We'll be working with borosilicate glass, known for its strength and resistance to shock - perfect for beginners interested in exploring the landscape of bending glass on a small scale. See where molten glass takes us as we build skills and confidence over consecutive days flame-working.

Participants will be led through a number of flame-working basics which will form the basis for their own self-guided project.

YOU CAN BRING a sketchbook or, if you don't have one, your FATA journal.

FOR SAFETY, closed shoes must be worn and long hair must be tied back.

Additional Fee: $135
